Masteron P is an injectable steroid containing the substance dromostanolone propionate. The structure of this steroid is moderately anabolic and highly androgenic and does not aromatize to estrogen. Therefore, gynecomastia and water retention are not a problem when taking this drug.

In fact, masteron can exhibit anti-estrogenic activity in the body, this would reduce the aromatization of other steroids, masteron acts in the same way as the oral steroid proviron. Bodybuilders really like non-aromatizing androgens and consider masteron to be very useful during a cutting period.

It is mainly used for a few weeks before a competition, in an attempt to achieve a denser and harder look of the muscles. Effective Doses
When used for strength and muscle mass in men, this drug is usually injected every other day or every day. The total weekly dose is usually 300-700 mg, which is taken for 6 to 12 weeks. This level of use is sufficient to increase muscle mass and strength. Masteron is most often used when lean mass or relief is desired. For the latter, it is often combined with other non-aromatizing steroids such as Winstrol, Primobolan, Parabolan or Anavar. Such cycles are known to significantly increase muscle volume and fat burning, in a period that can be very catabolic without taking steroids.

When used for strength and muscle mass in women, a dose of 50 mg per week is most common, for four to six weeks. Symptoms of virilization are rare at this dose, provided that the duration of administration is not prolonged too long. Keep in mind that due to the short-acting nature of the propionate ester, the total weekly dose is usually divided into smaller injections given once every second or third day.

Side effects

Estrogenic:
Drostanolone propionate is not aromatized by the body and is not measurably estrogenic. An anti-estrogen is not necessary when using this steroid as gynecomastia should not occur even in sensitive individuals. Since estrogen is the usual culprit for water retention, methyl drostanolone instead prevents subcutaneous fluid retention. This makes it a favorable steroid to use during a cutting cycle when water and fat retention are a major concern. As a non-aromatizing DHT derivative, methyl drostanolone can impart an anti-estrogenic effect, a drug that competes with other (aromatizing) substrates for binding to the aromatase enzyme.
